Pom-Berry-Banana Smoothie

When hubby was sick with cancer, the only thing I could get him to eat and he enjoyed it was a smoothie in the evening. He was not eating much but this did seem to perk him up a bit...Smoothies are really good and depending on what you put into them, pretty healthy! So start your day with a smoothie...use whatever fruits or juice you want...

INGREDIENTS

1 orange, peel and pith removed with a sharp knife, quartered
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 ripe banana, cut into thirds
1 cup 100 percent pomegranate juice

DIRECTIONS

Blend orange, berries, banana, and pomegranate juice.

Servings:    1 drink
