Matcha Green Tea Latte

This weekend it is teas and coffees, last summer I discovered Matcha Tea, I do prefer the black over the green, but they are both so full of nutrients that it is something to add to your daily routine. I like to take black matcha tea, mix it in Soy milk and add ice for a tasty nutritious summer drink.

¼ cup boiling water
1 teaspoon matcha powder
2 teaspoons pure maple syrup or honey
1 cup unsweetened almond milk, steamed or heated


Add the hot water, matcha powder, and pure maple syrup to a mug and stir well.
Heat the unsweetened almond milk by either microwaving it, heating it on the stove top, or using a milk frother.
Add the hot almond milk to the mug with the matcha mixture, give it a stir, and enjoy!
